MAJOR. to Be Inducted Into The Berklee Gospel Music Hall of Fame

Berklee College of Music is the premier destination for the study of contemporary music and the performing arts.The Africana Studies Division at Berklee will present the Signature Series concert Gospel Extravaganza 2025 - Through the Years: A Celebration of Berklee's Reverence Gospel Ensemble and Berklee Gospel Music Hall of Fame Ceremony on Thursday, May 1 at 8PM. One of this year's prestigious Gospel Hall of Fame inductees is Soul singer MAJOR.
MAJOR. is a Berklee alum who has assiduously worked to develop his career in music and entertainment with perseverance, integrity, and enthusiasm. He is a platinum-selling artist with GRAMMY®, Dove, and NAACP Image Award nominations for his hit songs "Why I Love You," "Honest," and "I Prayed For You (said a prayer)."
"Berklee is where I developed, learned, grew, and became," says MAJOR. "To be acknowledged and celebrated specifically for Gospel (the genre that inspires me the most) means more than words could express. So I'll just say GOD IS AMAZING!"
Past Hall of Fame honorees include Bishop Hezekiah Walker; Dr. Judith Christie McAllister, Reverend Milton Biggham, Dr. Teresa Jackson, and Kurt Carr. Admission to the Gospel Extravaganza and Gospel Hall of Fame event is $15/$20 in advance and $20/$25 day of show. Get tickets here.
