Journey’s Jonathan Cain Honors Charlie Kirk with “No One Else”

Renowned Journey keyboardist, songwriter, and Christian recording artist Jonathan Cain has released a powerful new solo single, "No One Else," honoring the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk. The heartfelt tribute is now available on all major streaming platforms, with proceeds benefiting Turning Point USA (TPUSA)-the movement Kirk founded at age 18.
Premiered on The Strang Report podcast, "No One Else" is Cain's musical reflection on Kirk's unwavering commitment to righteousness, truth, and the Gospel. Cain described Kirk as "a voice of conviction in a culture desperate for courage," adding, "Charlie stood for the values that shaped this nation and inspired millions to live boldly for Christ. This song is a reminder that his message lives on."
Blending Cain's signature piano-driven melodies with soaring, faith-filled lyrics, "No One Else" continues the veteran musician's tradition of crafting songs that bridge rock and worship. The single follows his 2024 worship release Arise and underscores his passion for faith-centered music.
Charlie Kirk-founder of TPUSA and a prominent Christian voice for a new generation-was tragically assassinated on September 10, 2025, during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University. His death sent shockwaves across the nation, sparking widespread tributes from faith and political leaders alike.
Cain, who has been a longtime supporter of TPUSA's mission, said the song was written "as both a lament and a celebration-because while the world lost a leader, heaven gained a warrior."
Despite recent media speculation, a spokesperson for Cain confirmed that he remains an active member of Journey, balancing his work with the legendary band and his growing catalog of solo worship projects.
"No One Else" is available now on all streaming platforms.
