Rend Collective Challenges Us to Persevere Through Tough Times with New Single
Rend Collective (formerly known as Rend Collective Experiment) is back with their brand single and video "Coming Out Fighting." This is their first single after their 2020 album Choose to Worship. The song, written by Gareth Gilkeson, Chris Llewellyn & Jonathan Smith, speaks about how we can persevere through difficult times because the Holy Spirit lives in us.
"Well folks, you can finally listen to our first single in a long time," Rend Collective announces. "It's a song about resilience, about overcoming one of the hardest years of our lives with the supernatural power of Jesus working inside of us, and about God's people are NEVER counted out. Enjoy!!"
I am, I am coming out fighting
I am, I am like Mercury Rising
I got supernatural power inside of me
So don't you count me out
I'm coming out fighting
I'm coming out fighting, yeah
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Hailing from a small town off the coast of Northern Ireland, Rend Collective (Gareth Gilkeson, Chris Llewellyn, Ali Gilkeson, Patrick Thompson and Stephen Mitchell) wants to be known as a celebration band, worshiping for God's Glory and fame.
