As for the next Daft Punk tour, the concert group was trying to get a place for their tour in South Dakota at the “Devils Tower” in Wyoming. Unfortunately, the group wasn’t able to nail down the venue. Reed Robinson, the superintendent of the “Devils Tower”, was approached for the supposed venue request, but he said that the planned event would be disrespectful to the tribes in the area, “This being a night skies park and a natural part and a sacred site to 24 different tribes, that would be considered sacrilegious and gets into that ‘inappropriate use’”. The tour plan remains seemingly sidetracked by other recent projects by the Daft Punk duo. Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, for one, might soon release a solo album in the near future. It is said that he is “currently registering a solo album in the near western suburbs of Paris…no release date has been scheduled”, and that the upcoming album “will be full of guests”, including Charlotte Gainsbourg. Also, the duo are said to be making a TV documentary, “viewers will get an insight into the artistic world of Daft Punk…and the extraordinary story of the two award-winning French DJ musicians hidden behind robot masks”.

While Far Cry 3 is set in the tropics, the Far Cry 4 gameplay takes place in Kyrat, a wild, untamed but extremely beautiful region up in the Himalayas. Also, Far Cry 4 will take much longer to complete than its predecessor. According to narrative director Mark Thompson in an interview with IGN, “"Because we know the game can take people anywhere between 15 and 60 hours to complete, we didn't want people just to see Pagan Min [the despotic ruler of the place] everywhere. We wanted the world to feel like it was owned by someone, we wanted you to feel Pagan Min everywhere. But, specifically, region to region, we have a different character who owns it, and that kind of colors the outposts, the side-quests, the specific characters and personalities.” To enable users across different platforms to better appreciate the depth of the Far Cry 4 world, Ubisoft until now is still tweaking with the graphical settings of the game. As revealed by a Ubisoft representative to Game Spot, “With more than a month left until the Far Cry 4 launch, the team continues to maximize the gameplay experience across all consoles, and PC. We have not yet locked the resolution as yet, but, as Alex Hutchinson notes, we are aiming for 1080p on all platforms, including PC (depending on the computer you have). We look forward to introducing fans to the world of Kyrat!”

These games are: ‘Til Morning’s Light,’ ‘Tales from Deep Space,’ and ‘CreepStorm.’ Til Morning's Light is a touch-based character-driven action-adventure game wherein players can explore a haunted New England Mansion, solve puzzles and battle ghouls. The game is being co-developed with WayForward Technologies. Exclusively made for Fire Phone, it will rely on the device’s Dynamic Perspective capabilities to give ambiance to the realistically rendered setting. Tales from Deep Space is a 2.5D platforming adventure that follows E, a traveling salesman, and CASI, his luggage-droid, as they try to escape Big Moon, the "most eccentric space station in the galaxy." Developed in partnership with Frontier Developments, the game will feature a mix of action and puzzle-solving. Built for the Fire tablets, players can toggle between the two main character in single-player, or have two players control the duo simultaneously in local co-op. CreepStorm is a cartoon horror role-playing game wherein players are tasked with hunting the undead by setting up a perimeter of vampire hunters. A take on the traditional tower defense-style strategy game, this variation is being developed in partnership with Happy Tuesday. It will have both a single-player campaign and competitive online multiplayer mode. According to IGN, Amazon also announced a fourth game called ‘The Unmaking,’ which is a castle-defense game for the Fire tablets that allows a player to position atop the fortress wall, there to man the artillery to stem the advance of ravenous hordes. By partnering with AppStream, it became possible to put 2000 to 4000 advancing enemies onscreen at once for the game. Til Morning’s Light is scheduled to be available on the Fire Phone within this month while Tales from Deep Space, CreepStorm and The Unmaking may be ready for the Fire tablets by year end.

Directed by David Yates based on a screenplay written by Stuart Beattie, Craig Brewer, John Collee and Adam Cozad, the latest live-action film adaptation of Edgar Rice Burrough’s “Tarzan” stars Alexander Skarsgard in the title role. Others in the cast include Margot Robbie as “Jane Porter,” Christoph Waltz as the Belgian villain, “Captain Leon Rom,” Djimon Hounsou as “Chief Mbonga,” Samuel L. Jackson as ex-mercenary “George Washington Williams,” and Osy Ikhile in a key supporting role. Rory J. Saper will play the “young Tarzan.” The cinematography for the film, which will be seen in 3D, was done by Henry Braham, with editing by Mark Day. According to the plot summary, Tarzan will have already taken his place in civilized British society as John Clayton III, the Lord Greystoke. He will also have already been married to Jane. He will be invited back to Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament. There, while investigating suspicious activities at a mining camp, he realizes that he has become a pawn in a deadly game of greed and revenge that is being orchestrated by Captain Rom. Tarzan will then team up with the former mercenary Williams to rescue the proverbial damsel in distress, serve justice jungle-style, clobber the bad guys and otherwise save the day. There would be non-stop action to look forward to. With its summer of 2016 release, Tarzan will have to compete at the box office against Independence II, X-Men: Apocalypse, Batman v Superman, and Angry Birds.

The production work on Wolverine 3 will likely begin after filming wraps up for X-Men: Apocalypse, which is due to be released on May 27, 2016. Wolverine 3 may be the last in the franchise, or at least the last in which Jackman will play Wolverine. In a talk with SFX, the 45-year old actor was asked where he would want to take his character next in the upcoming film. Jackman replied, “I don’t know yet. We’re talking it through. I still am very ambitious for the character. And tonally, I feel like we corrected the ship with the last one. But I feel we can still go further, in a way. If I did another one I’m 99.9% sure it would be the last, so that will inform what it is for me....Well, of course we’re looking at ‘Old Man Logan,” because that may be the only option left at this point!” Now, with respect to the Marvel comic book Wolverine, he too was supposed to have been ‘killed’ off beginning this September in a four-part serialized story entitled Wolverine#8 “3 Months to Die.” In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Michael Marts, an executive editor at Marvel, said: “For a long time, no matter who Wolverine was battling, he’s been the eternal victor. He almost always comes out on top. Now he finally comes up against an adversary that he cannot win against, he cannot fight. What does that mean for this character who’s been around for hundred years?” Marts added that Marvel is taking the death of one of its flagship characters “from a standpoint of finality, of closure.” Following Wolverine’s death, Marvel is set to launch “The Logan Legacy” weekly comic book series according to a report from MTV.

Ted 2 will be filming October 20 through 31 in Los Angeles, California, for scenes that will be shown in the movie as the New York Comic-Con. Ted 2 is being directed by Seth MacFarlane from a screenplay he co-wrote with Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild. MacFarlane will also reprise his role as Ted. Others in the Ted 2 movie cast are Mark Wahlberg as Ted’s best friend John Bennett, Amanda Seyfried, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Patrick Warburton, Giovanni Ribisi, Jessica Barth, Sam J. Jones, Dennis Haysbert, Richard Schiff, Michael Dorn, Curtis Stigers, John Slattery, William Xifaras, among others. Patrick Stewart will serve as the film’s unseen narrator. It’s been rumored that William Shatner will also be appearing in the film. Ted 2 is scheduled for release to theaters beginning June 26, 2015.

Filming wrapped up August 5 with producer Frank Marshall even tweeting a picture of the final day’s call sheet that says,”Picture Finish.” Director Colin Trevorrow on the other hand tweeted the word “Wrap” with an attached photo of the production slate in between the teeth of what appears to be one of the Jurassic World dinosaur props. Until now, however, there is still no official Jurassic World trailer yet. Fans were actually disappointed when no teaser footage from the upcoming Jurassic World movie was shown at the San Diego Comic-Con. Recently, Youtube user Ivan Flores shared a detailed description of a possible trailer for test audiences, which was taken down at Universal Pictures’ request. A transcription of Flores’ description of the trailer can still be accessed at fan site JurassicWorld.org, which also speculates that the official teaser trailer may be seen when Interstellar premieres on November 7. Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt as “Owen,” an ex-military who works at the theme park, Bryce Dallas Howard as “Beth,” a corporate scientist for an unknown organization, Irrfan Khan as “Patel,” the head of Patel Corporation which is the new owner of the theme park, and Vincent D’Onofrio as “Morton,” Patel’s CFO. It’s been almost 3 years since the ARA project rumor started, but during Google’s developer conference in April, the project was confirmed. Project ARA should arrive sometime in January 2015, with the earliest possible prototype leaks in December this year.
