Alabaster Grace Releases New Single “High King of Heaven”

Husband-and-wife duo Alabaster Grace, comprised of Brad Perry, a highly decorated former NASA rocket scientist and now pastor of Historic White Marsh Church, and Joanie Perry, a long-time educator, have released their latest single, "High King of Heaven." The track is now available on all streaming platforms.
Written and performed by Joanie and Brad Perry, "High King of Heaven" was first premiered on September 12, 2025, during a special service at Historic White Marsh Church in Lancaster, Virginia, where Brad serves as pastor. The song is produced by multiple GMA Dove Award winner Chris Bevins (Selah, Salvador, Jaci Velasquez, Christine D'Clario), who also served as keyboardist. Bevins brought together an impressive team of Nashville session players, including Dan Needham (drums), Mike Payne (guitar), and Jacob Lowery (bass).
Rooted in Scripture and crafted for contemporary worship, "High King of Heaven" draws inspiration from Psalm 103:19, John 4:14, and Hebrews 1:3. Joanie Perry, the duo's primary songwriter and lead vocalist, penned the lyrics, while Brad contributed lead guitar and background vocals. Together with Bevins, the Perrys shaped an arrangement designed for both personal devotion and congregational praise.
"With a worshipful heart, 'High King of Heaven' is a song of adoration and praise directly to the Lord," says Bevins. "Instruments rise and voices multiply as the song builds to a crescendo of drums and voices worshipping at the throne of Jesus. His name is worthy of honor like none other, and Brad and Joanie declare this in harmony together as an offering of praise."
Joanie shares, "'High King of Heaven' came about as the result of our giving praise and honor to God as the Creator and Savior of the world. With Brad's background at NASA and his pursuit of astronomy, we desired to write a song that pointed to the majesty of God's creation and the salvation that is offered through Jesus Christ."
Brad adds, "God rules from His throne in heaven, and His creation is seen everywhere. 'High King of Heaven' declares both the infiniteness of our Creator God and His love for us. He created each of us uniquely to be in relationship with Him and to glorify Him above all else."
Beyond their music, Alabaster Grace Ministries presents original Christian songs alongside programs exploring the intersection of faith and science at churches, conferences, retreats, and special events.
"High King of Heaven" is now available to stream on Spotify and YouTube. For more information about Alabaster Grace, visit alabastergraceministries.org and follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
