Sensere Follows #1 Hit with New Single “After Tonight”

Fresh off the heels of their chart-topping #1 single "That's God...lalala", gospel soul band Sensere announces the release of their brand-new single, "After Tonight", now serviced to radio. The track serves as the highly anticipated follow-up to "That's God...lalala", which continues to enjoy heavy rotation nationwide while introducing new audiences to Sensere's signature gospel-soul sound.
"After Tonight" is featured on the group's latest project, Fred Hammond Presents Sensere: The Soul of Future Worship Vol. 2, which dropped earlier this month to overwhelming fan and industry acclaim. Many are already calling the release the band's finest work to date.
Written and produced by Sensere's founder James "J Dubb" Wright alongside longtime manager Gerald Jones, "After Tonight" embodies the same urban, feel-good energy that powered "That's God...lalala" to #1.
"It was between this song and one other, and when we tested it with radio professionals, the response was overwhelmingly in favor of 'After Tonight.' It still has that same uplifting vibe, and it's actually one of the band's favorite songs on the project," shares Wright. "We actually recorded this before we even came up with 'That's God...lalala.'"
Manager Gerald Jones adds:
"We call it the cousin to 'That's God...lalala,' and we believe that's why people are embracing it so quickly. At its core, it's a universal message-no matter what you're going through, joy truly comes in the morning. Tough times don't last, and that's something the band lives by daily as we continue pursuing our calling and dreams while staying grounded in faith."
With momentum already building, "After Tonight" is poised to carry on Sensere's legacy of delivering timeless gospel music that inspires, uplifts, and transcends genres.
