William Murphy Returns with "THE devil DIDN'T GET AWAY WITH IT"

Today, GRAMMY® and Dove Award nominee, Stellar Award-winning artist, and celebrated pastor William Murphy returns with his latest EP, THE devil DIDN'T GET AWAY WITH IT, available now across all digital streaming platforms. The powerful four-song set is crafted as the perfect soundtrack for Easter and beyond, declaring that every challenge faced comes with God's assured response of restoration and victory.
With this stirring new EP, Murphy affirms through music that the battles people endure do not go unseen by God, and divine recompense is certain. Each song is designed to set hearts, minds, and spirits to a pace of praise, encouraging listeners to engage deeply in worship whether individually or within their communities.
Murphy shares, "This EP is a proclamation that no matter what trials you've endured or how hard the devil has fought against you, it will not go unanswered. God sees, He restores, and He responds. My hope is that these songs will ignite faith and joy in the hearts of listeners everywhere."

The EP kicks off with the boldly declarative title track, "The Devil Didn't Get Away With It," a vibrant anthem of triumph and renewal. "Just Breathe" follows, gently encouraging listeners to pause, reset, and reconnect with the calming presence of God. Next, "I Will Exalt You" beautifully captures the heart of worship, inviting audiences to center themselves wholly in adoration. Concluding the set is "Double," previously released as a powerful single reminding listeners of God's promise to restore abundantly beyond past hardships.
In 2000, William Murphy became a household name in gospel, contributing significantly to the acclaimed song "Praise Is What I Do" with Shekinah Glory Ministry, a project that landed prominently on Billboard's Gospel Albums chart. Relocating to Atlanta, GA, Murphy served as worship minister at the renowned New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, amplifying his global impact through both preaching and musical ministry.
His 2005 release, All Day, reached #22 on Billboard's Gospel Albums chart, signaling the beginning of a powerful solo journey. Murphy's celebrated 2013 project, God Chaser, achieved widespread acclaim, peaking at #3 on Billboard's Gospel chart and earning him a GRAMMY® nomination. Parallel to his rising musical influence, Murphy accepted the pastoral calling, founding The dReam Center Church of Atlanta in 2006. Today, Murphy also serves as the presiding Bishop of Worship within the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International Ministries under co-founder Bishop Paul S. Morton.
Fans can anticipate even more new music and inspiration from William Murphy in the coming months, as he prepares to deliver additional powerful worship experiences this summer.
