Kenny Lewis & One Voice Release Their New Single “Call His Name” Featuring Kim Burrell
Billboard chart-topping group, Kenny Lewis & One Voice just released their newest single, "Call His Name" featuring Kim Burrell both in radio edit and hymnal form. This is the first single released from their upcoming album, The Healing Project, which is set to be released later this year. Both versions of the song were written by Kenny Lewis and produced by Kenny Lewis and Ay'Ron Lewis. The full album is geared to have a strong focus on mental health within the Body of Christ.
This is not the first collaboration between Lewis and Burrell. In 2022 they released the hit song, "Victory" that was a smash hit on radio and Billboard. "Call His Name" is a stylistically jazzy groove that highlights the vocal prowess of One Voice that fans adore. Once mixed with the soulful vocal stylings of Burrell, the result is a masterpiece. When asked about "Call His Name" Lewis says,
"The name of Jesus ignites supernatural power. Yes, He is a healer, deliverer and a way-maker, but those are His attributes. Calling His name puts you in his presence and causes anything outside of His will to come 'subject' to the power and authority of His name. I pray the listeners will understand this and remember to call upon His name to receive his power." -Lewis
Kenny Lewis & One Voice are celebrating their 25th year as a group this year and their trajectory is expected to reach even higher heights. Lewis's last album, Undefeated, acquired massive success with over 20 million streams and the album's lead single, "He's Been Good" featuring Charles Jenkins, hit #1 on Billboard! The album also garnered the group a nomination for "Contemporary Choir of the Year" from the prestigious Stellar Awards in 2021.
Both the radio single and the hymnal version of "Call His Name", both featuring Kim Burrell, are now available on all digital streaming platforms.
