Planetshakers Releases “We Raise: Live At Chapel” Ahead of New Live Album

Internationally recognized praise and worship band Planetshakers globally releases "We Raise: Live At Chapel" today (Oct. 20) ) from Venture3Media (V3M). Available now at all major digital and streaming outlets via https://planetshakers.streamlink.to/weraiseliveatchapel, the single was recorded live in-the-round and led by Planetshakers band members singing along with Planetshakers Bible College students in their chapel.
Written and produced by Joth Hunt, "We Raise" follows "Supernatural Love: Live At Chapel" as the second single revealed from the 12-song Show Me Your Glory - Live At Chapel album set to release November 3 along with 12 companion videos. The new recording re-crafts tracks from the full production Show Me Your Glory songs in a musically accessible way for smaller gatherings and features the core Planetshakers worship team, including Hunt, Sam Evans, Andy Harrison, Josh Ham, Aimee Walker, Chelsi Nikkerud and Rudy Nikkerud.
"The whole heart behind the chapel recordings is to equip churches with big, powerful songs to help people change the atmosphere of whatever they are going through. This transcends any style or arrangement," says Hunt. "While the album arrangements are meant to provide an easier way for churches to sing these songs, the thing that we don't want to change is the passion and the spirit behind the praise and worship."
"When we get together with our college students to capture the heart of worship, there is this passion and excitement in the room," adds Pastor Sam Evans. "The students are at a point in their lives where they are so on fire for God. There is this beautiful, real and intimate roar connecting with God in an acoustic setting without the complexity of production."
Planetshakers' Show Me Your Glory album features 14 songs, 12 of which were recorded live along with the voices of thousands attending the Show Me Your Glory Planetshakers Conference held in Melbourne, Australia. The album is meant to be a praise and worship musical journey. In addition to "We Raise" and "Supernatural Love," Show Me Your Glory features uplifting praise songs such as "Take Me Back," "The House," "Living In Me" and "Rejoice," along with powerful worship songs like "We Lift Up Jesus" and "Worthy Is The Lamb."
Playing new music and fan favorites while on tour, Planetshakers is completing a run of tour dates in the US that began Oct. 14 in Orange County, CA and stops today (Oct. 20) in San Antonio, TX and in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday (Oct. 22).
