Chris Tomlin

It's not just the critics that are raising their thumbs up with regards to Chris Tomlin's latest worship album "Love Ran Red."  Even his peers, such as worship leaders, are all lauding with praise over the new record.

Darlene Zschech, the lady who has been at the forefront of Hillsong Worship, has always been a log time fan of Tomlin.  Not only has she led Tomlin's hit "Our God" at Hillsong's Conference a couple of years back, but she has been singing "Jesus Loves Me" (the latest single from "Love Ran Red") across all campuses at her local church.  Writing on Twitter, Zschech exclaims: " Thanks @christomlin for Love Ran Red.. Almost had to pull over the car when 'let it be Jesus' came on... #gratefultears #loveranredyesitdid ."

Similarly, woship leader Matt Maher who is known for worship staples such as "Lord I Need You" and "Your Grace is Enough," is also full of praises: "Also my friend @christomlin has another album of amazing songs; or as he likes to call it, "Monday" ."

David Crowder of the David Crowder Band took the time to comment on social media: "Proud of my good friend @christomlin on the release of #LoveRanRed! Amazing songs."

Currently, "Love Ran Red" proudly sits at #1 on the Billboard Christian Album chart and made an ambitious bow in the top 10 of Billboard 200.

With nine albums, 12 No. 1 radio singles, a GRAMMY® Award and eight additional nominations, three Billboard Music Awards, 21 Dove Awards, a platinum and four gold albums to his credit, Chris Tomlin is among the most well-known and influential artists in contemporary Christian music. Referred to by Time magazine as "most likely the most often sung artist anywhere," Tomlin also has 15 of the Top 100 CCLI songs, with 4 of them being in the top 10. In addition to having sold more than 5.3 million albums and over 8 million digital tracks, Tomlin made history as his single "Jesus Messiah" (Hello Love) garnered 97 adds at radio its first week and skyrocketed to No. 1, making it the biggest ever add date in Christian radio history.
