Chicago Fire Season 3 Episode 4 Spoilers and Preview: Dawson And Mills On The First Day In Their New Jobs; Severide On A Scary Subway Ride

Chicago Fire Season 3 episode 4 which airs Tuesday, October 14, at the 10 PM time slot on the NBC network is entitled "Apologies Are Dangerous." According to the studio summary, the fourth installment in TV drama involving the people at the firehouse of Engine 51, Truck 81, Squad 3, Ambulance 61 and Battalion 25 will have both Dawson and Mills struggling with their new roles while "Severide confronts his demons in an unexpected way."

In the previous episode, it was seen that Peter Mills (Charlie Barnett) of Rescue Squad 3 was diagnosed with vertigo after he blacked out. Because of his new condition, he can no longer get clearance for squad duty as a firefighter. Fortunately, Paramedic-in-Charge Gabriela Dawson (Monica Raymund) of Ambulance 61 was promoted to candidate for a position on Truck 81. Mills then could apply for and get Dawson's old job as paramedic. Necessarily, both Mills and Dawson will have to make a lot of adjustments in their new roles. On Episode 4, Dawson will be seen facing her first fire under the command of her fiancee Lieutenant Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer). Mills on the other hand will find it hard not to jump down the pole when the station's alarm sounds off.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney), who has been AWOL since the death of his best friend Paramedic Leslie Elizabeth Shay (Lauren German), will inadvertently find himself right in the middle of a train shoot out. The incident would serve as the catalyst which will force him to come to terms with his internal conflicts.

The others in the Chicago Fire Season 3 cast are Eamonn Walker as 25th Battalion Chief Wallace Boden, David Eigenberg as Firefighter Christopher Herrmann, and Teri Reeves as Doctor Hallie Thomas.
