Snow White and the Huntsman 2 Release Date, Cast, News, Spoilers: More about 'The Huntsman' and Chris Hemsworth

For those who are not yet informed, the movie, Snow White and the Huntsman 2 is cancelled. Yes, you've read it right, there will not be a sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman 2. Instead, what you should look forward to is a prequel of the story focusing on The Huntsman (movie with the same title) to be played by Chris Hemsworth.

So what's the Huntsman's plot going to be like?

According to KDramaStars, the prequel will allow us to know more about the character of Hemsworth and how he met and interacted with the evil queen who sent him to kill Snow White. Charlize Theron will be reprising role of Ravena, but Snow White will definitely be a no-show. In order to prepare for the role, Chris Hemsworth whom we all popularly known as Thor, had to have an image overhaul. 

Hemsworth character's look will be very much different from the Norse God. Instead of a hammer, he will be using an axe to fight off his opponents. Also, his golden hair had also been turned into a light brown shade. Based on the photos that are circulating online, we could barely see a trace of Thor.

Craig Mazin and Evan Spiliotopoulous who had written the first draft of Snow White and the Huntsman 2 plot which originally involved Kirsten Stewart still reprising her role, will still be compensated despite the overhaul of the theme of the next movie. Frank Darabont will serve as the director of the movie.

We are looking forward to watch the exciting Snow White and the Huntsman 2 trailer or rather 'The Huntsman's trailer, even if not the whole movie yet.

Even without Snow White, The Huntsman release date will push through on April 22, 2016.
