Carrie Underwood Makes a Splash at the Christian and Country Charts with New Single
Carrie Underwood's Christian themed new single "Something in the Water" made a splash on the Billboard Christian Song chart when it debut at #1 knocking Hillsong UNITED's "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)"off the top spot. On Billboard country chart, "Water" makes a gigantic spurge up the charts from 48 to 2. The track also bows atop the Country Streaming and Christian Streaming lists with 1.4 million U.S. streams, according to Nielsen BDS, and the Country Digital and Christian Digital scorecards with 125,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Underwood previously rose as high as No. 4 on Hot Christian Songs with "Jesus, Take the Wheel" in 2006. On Hot Country Songs, "Water" is her 20th top 10; she's yet to miss the region with any of her singles promoted to country radio.
