Huawei MediaPad runs on Android OS, v4.4.2 (KitKat) while Samsung Galaxy Tab lags behind with operating system of backdated Android OS, v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). The power sector also takes Samsung ahead with Non-removable Li-Po 4800 mAh battery while Huawei MediaPad has Non-removable Li-Po 4450 mAh battery. Both the devices has sim card slot. So cellular connectivity is available. The price for Huawei MediaPad M1 8.0 revolves around $380 while Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 costs around $390.
