The Mindy Project Season 3 Spoilers, Released Date and Latest News: All About Peter's Love Life PLUS Mindy is Moving to Manhattan!

The Mindy Project Season 3 release date is in September 16 this year on FOX.

Mindy Project Season 3 Cast: Allison Tolman and Shonda Rhimes

TV Guide reports that actress Allison Tolman from Fargo will have a guest starring role in Season 3. TV guide said that Ms.Tolman will appear in the show as romance novelist Abby Berman. She and Doctor Peter Prentice (played by Adam Pally) went on a blind date that went awry. Ms.Tolman guest stint will last for two episodes.

"Grey's Anatomy" and "How to Get Away with Murder" creator Shonda Rhimes will also make a guest appearance in one of the episodes of the Mindy Project Season 3 as reported in TV Line. The TV Line reporter wrote, "I'm [sic] told Rhimes, a self-proclaimed super-fan of both The Mindy Project and its star Mandy Kaling, will play herself on the show. Specifics about her storyline are being kept under wraps."

An excited Rhimes tweeted, "Shh. Nobody tell @mindykaling that I can neither act nor appear lifelike on camera. NO ONE CAN STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING!"

Mindy Project Season 3 Rumor - Mindy Kaling Looking for an Apartment

Kdramastars has reported that Mandy Kaling is looking for an apartment in Manhattan. The post quoted her Tweet last August 29. The tweet reads, "Looking to sublet a spacious apartment / townhouse in Manhattan, south of 14^th street for me and & 5 of my writers from September 7^th to 16^th."

In a later tweet she said she is looking for apartment to sublet. It must have five bedrooms and located at the earlier mentioned address.
