Bayonetta 2 Release Date, Trailer, Link, Gameplay And Rumors: Platinum Games' Port Of Original Bayonetta For Wii U Allows Players To Dress Up The Eponymous Witch As Classic Nintendo Characters
We have the latest for you on the release date, trailer, link, gameplay, rumors, reports and latest updates of Bayonetta 2. For the lovers of the Bayonetta game, there is good news for you as Bayonetta 2 for Wii U will be coming to you on 24th October in North America. The release based on the disc will include a copy of the original Bayonetta. For those who will purchase it through Bayonetta eShop, a special discount will be given to them bringing the total purchase price to $59.98.
Platinum Games' port of the original Bayonetta for Wii U allows players to dress up the eponymous witch as classic Nintendo characters including The Legend of Zelda's Link, peach from Super Mario Bros. and Metroid's Samus. The costumes will be available as unlockables in the sequel, Bayonetta 2. This was announced by Platinum Games. The costume changers for Bayonetta which are Nintendo-themed also alter certain visuals and sounds. For example, when dressed as Peach or Daisy, certain special moves will summon the arms and feet of Bowser. As Samus, Bayonetta can transform into a rolling morph ball, and when in a link costume, the games currency which is normally halos becomes rupees.
The developer is expanding on Bayonetta's Nintendo-inspired costume together with another costume based on Star Fox's McCloud Platinum which was recently revealed. Bayonetta 2 will also introduce a new playable character known as Rodin, the shopkeeper. Rodin will be available in the game's online cooperative gameplay mode called Tag Climax.
The contents of the game will be grouped in 3D embossed leather effect packaging which recreates 'The Hierarchy of Laguna'- the book of angels that documents the angelic foes Bayonetta meets on her adventures. A trailer of the game started with the introduction Platinum Games' director and producer of Bayonetta 2, Yusuke Hashimoto and Akiko Kuroda, respectively. They both delved into the story of Bayonetta and her trip into Hell...or in the case of this game Inferno. A new trailer for the game will be revealed during the Nintendo Direct from Platinum Games. As we wait for the release of the game, stay with us for more information on this and much more.
