NCIS: New Orleans Season Premiere, Cast News and other Spoilers: Mark Harmon's Gibbs getting ready for a Crossover and an appearance by Tony DiNozzo

The spin-off of the military crime drama series NCIS is now ready to provide us with a new set of cases set on New Orleans. Fans of NCIS will be introduced with new crew of naval investigators which they will surely love just as much as they did the other NCIS series. NCIS: New Orleans is the second spinoff of the popular CBS drama that is guaranteed to capture fans' interest.

There is no official announcement yet from CBS as to what plot the series will be centering into. Still, the creators of the show have been kind enough as to inform us that there will be many familiar faces visiting New Orleans on its debut season.

Show's executive producers Gary Glasber, Mark Harmon, and Jeffery Lieber have shared some spoilers about the show during the TCA Summer Press Tour. According to them, they are already planning out an episode where Gibbs will be making an appearance, creating a crossover between the two shows. Aside from that they have episodes in mind where Michael Weatherly is involved, another one involving Pauley Perrette and once again for David McCalum. There is even a report that even FBI Agent Fornell played by Joe Spano might find his way in New Orleans. Just the thought of these characters crossing over on this new series makes it even more exciting.  

To make us even more excited, Tony DiNozzo, as portrayed by  Michael Weatherly has already started filming with the New Orleans crew. This was proven true by the actor's posts on his social media account and the people behind the spin-off, probably teasing us fans.
