We've got the latest news for you on the air date, episode 1 spoilers, cast and rumors of the Originals season 2. For the followers of the exciting series, "The Originals," there is some good news for you as the 'Devious Maids' star, Colin Woodell, will be featuring in the upcoming season of the Originals. He has been described as the new badass werewolf named Aiden.
According to a report by TV Line, the new character will be arriving to New Orleans in the Originals season 2 episode 4. The viewers should expect Aiden to make dangerous alliances in the Originals season 2. A spoiler report goes ahead to tease that Aiden is not the type to hesitate when it comes to forming alliances with the witches of New Orleans to fight the vampires and most especially protect his family.
Apart from Colin Woodell, there will be two new faces showing in the new season of Originals. The Teen Wolf star, Daniel Sharman will feature as Kaleb and Sonja Sohn as Lenore who will play as a witch. The executive producer of the series, Julie Plec, was engaged in an interview by Buddy TV and she teased that being a vampire is not a good thing as of now as New Orleans has been shaken to its core. The return of the Original Vampire hunter, Mikael and the Original witch hunter, Esther, will bring a lot of trouble to Klaus and Elijah his brother. The producer went ahead and said that Mikael and Esther will not know about each other being back from the dead until the last episode of the season.
In the season finale of the Originals season 1, we see Esther coming back to New Orleans free to move and possessing Cassie's body. When it comes to Mikael, Divina has full control over the Original vampire hunter. In the Originals season 2, with the reunion of the Mikaelson family happening, the viewers will be left to enjoy the love story of Mikael and Esther. The producer goes ahead to tease that the 2nd season of the Originals will be the oldest flashback story. The Originals season 2 is expected to return on Monday 6th October on the CW network.
