Bethel Music’s Zahriya Zachary Releases New Single “Shine on Me” feat. Edward Rivera

Bethel Music's Zahriya Zachary has released her latest single "Shine on Me" featuring fellow worship leader Edward Rivera. Accompanied by a new music video, the joyful anthem invites the light and life of Jesus into every moment. The song is now available on all major streaming platforms. Listen to "Shine On Me" here and watch the music video here.
"Shine On Me" is a fresh, pop-influenced track celebrating the joy of leaving behind the heaviness and darkness of life and embracing the freedom and rest found in the easy yoke of Jesus. The single features Bethel Music's beloved Edward Rivera, an LA-native who joined the collective in 2021 after years of extensive touring and collaborating with notable worship leaders. The blend of Zachary and Rivera's vocals creates a powerful worship anthem anchored in the ultimate peace found in Jesus.
Says Zachary, "I've wrestled with anxiety for most of my life, so realizing that when I encounter the presence of Jesus - when I step into His peace and His light - it changes everything. I don't have to escape into a daydream anymore. She continues, "For me, I spend a lot of time in my head creating safe places with the Lord. 'Shine On Me' is about realizing those daydreams don't have to stay in my head - they can actually be my reality. I get to live in peace, joy, and harmony with Him. And honestly, following Jesus is just really fun."
Zachary made her Bethel Music debut on "Homecoming" (2021), leading the song "Back to Life" and joining Brian Johnson on "Hymn of Heaven." Most recently, she led "If The Lord (Live)" on Bethel Music's 2025 compilation album, "We Must Respond." She also led "Surrounded By Holy" on "Come Up Here" (2023), releasing an acoustic EP version of the same. In addition, her debut solo single, "Simple Ways" (2022), reflects on the often-overlooked joys found in daily life.
This latest offering follows the release of Zachary's recent single, "Better Than I Thought" (2025) with more music expected later this year.

About Zahriya Zachary:
Born and raised in Spring, Texas, Zahriya Zachary didn't come from a musical family, but her love for music began at the early age of six while learning to play the piano. She began leading worship when she was a freshman in college when she felt that the Lord told her it was time to begin her journey into worship. Throughout her time in college, she began volunteering on her church's worship team, while the Lord was teaching her more about what it means to have a worshiper's heart. Zahriya believes that worship is the place where we belong, and her prayer is that she would help lead people to the feet of Jesus.
