Forrest Frank & Crowder Release New Collab “The Rock”

GRAMMY®-nominated, award-winning artist Forrest Frank continues his prolific run of new music with today's release of "The Rock" featuring Crowder. The collaboration was born out of a social media exchange after Crowder suffered a broken leg. During their conversation, Frank encouraged him, "You might not be able to stand, but you can stand on the Rock" - a phrase that became the heart of the single.
"I was super bummed when my leg broke-it was uncomfortable and inconvenient, for sure," Crowder shared. "But I was aware of what had transpired with Forrest's back and the miraculous turnaround he had seen, and the wave of music and prayer that followed what seemed like a setback. That's one of the most beautiful things about the church-when you see God active and reliable in someone else's experience, you believe it's possible for you. No matter what, my hope and my joy is in the eternal Rock of Ages. That's what I'm standing on-not my circumstances."
"The Rock" follows a streak of viral hits for Frank, including "SELAH" (3.1M global streams), "God's Got My Back" (10.8M streams, 25K+ Instagram Reels UGC, 10K+ TikTok UGC), and his collab with The Figs, "Lemonade" (8M streams, 60.4K Reels, 30K TikTok UGC). Each of these tracks were birthed from Frank's testimony of healing after a serious skateboarding accident that left him with multiple back fractures but a remarkably swift recovery.
At radio, Frank is seeing unprecedented momentum:
-
"Your Way's Better" is Top 5 on both Mediabase Christian Audience (#4) and Billboard Christian AC (#4), with 96 stations onboard.
-
"Nothing Else" (feat. Thomas Rhett) sits at #29 on Billboard Christian Airplay and #27 on Billboard Christian AC, while holding at #28 on Mediabase Christian AC with 40 stations.
-
"Lemonade" has already been added at 16 stations in just two weeks, several going straight into heavy rotation.
Radio impressions for Frank have more than doubled in 2025, climbing from 7.3M in April to 15.3M as of August 21. Meanwhile, his digital reach continues to surge - with monthly YouTube Music listeners surpassing even Drake.
Capping off his meteoric year, Frank recently received seven GMA Dove Award nominations, including Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year. His tracks "Good Day" and "Up!" are both nominated for Song of the Year, while his album Child of God and viral hit "Your Way's Better" are recognized in the Pop/Contemporary Album and Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year categories. He also earned a nod for Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song of the Year with "Heaven On This Earth" (feat. Torey D'Shaun).
With "The Rock," Frank and Crowder deliver a bold anthem of resilience and faith, pointing listeners back to the unshakable foundation of Christ.
