Breakout Worship Leader Lizzie Morgan Debuts New Album "Not My Will"

Worship leader and rising artist Lizzie Morgan proudly releases her debut album, Not My Will, today with Provident Entertainment/Sony Music. Captured live in Nashville, the powerful project features fellow labelmate and worship leader Seph Schlueter on the moving title track as well as other guest features by Ryan Ofei and Jonathan Stamper.
Already resonating with listeners worldwide, songs from Not My Will have garnered over 3 million streams ahead of the release. The project's standout track, "Let The Alabaster Break/Alabaster Box," has quickly gone viral with thousands of fan TikTok creations using the song. Accompanying the album, live videos from the recording will premiere on YouTube tonight, offering fans an immersive worship experience. Worship Teams can also access resources, including stems, chords, and lyrics via MultiTracks, Loop Community, and PraiseCharts to utilize within their own community.
"Over the past year, the words 'Not My Will' have become more than just a phrase to me but they've been a way of living," shares Morgan. "Learning to lay down my own plans and trust God's has not always been easy, but it has been the most beautiful part of this season. This album is proof that His way really is better than anything I could have dreamed for myself. My prayer is that these songs meet you where you are, remind you that you are deeply seen by God, and draw you closer to His heart."
Continuing to build off the momentum of the release, Morgan has been making her way around the media circuit, sharing her story and heart for worship through recent features and interviews with Worship Leader Magazine, The Walk Podcast, The Worship Probs Podcast, New ReleaseToday, and many others, further solidifying her place as a trusted voice in today's worship landscape.
Additionally, Morgan will bring her music to new audiences as the opening act on five dates of Elevation Rhythm's Goodbye Yesterday Tour in September. The tour will visit Baltimore, MD, Philadelphia, PA, Columbia, SC, Nashville, TN and Birmingham, AL. For tickets, visit www.lizziemorganmusic.com.
While Not My WillI is Morgan's debut release, her career began back in 2017, when her voice caught the attention of 2X GRAMMY® Award winner Lauren Daigle, for whom she became a background vocalist for many years. Between tours, she honed her craft as a songwriter with Maverick City Music, Seasons Collective, and as one half of WILDER, a worship duo with Stefan Cashwell. Her collaborative spirit led to her joining Maverick City Music's Kingdom Tour in 2022, where she performed across the U.S. and contributed to landmark projects, including Tribl Nights Atlanta, A Very Maverick Christmas, and Kingdom Book One. She is also currently a part of Red Worship, which garnered a recent Dove Award nomination for Gospel Worship Album of the year.
Even through touring and making music, Morgan has remained deeply rooted in local church ministry, serving as a worship leader at her home church in Hendersonville, TN, and at Redemption Church in San Jose, CA.
