Matthew Parker Teams Up with Xander Sallows for "Ebb & Flow"

Today, pop artists Matthew Parker and Xander Sallows release their new song "Ebb & Flow." The song is available on all digital service providers via DREAM Records. Produced by Parker and co-written by both artists, the fresh pop sound is interwoven with lyrics that speak on not stressing about having it all together.
Parker describes how the song was birthed. "When I got together with Xander to write this song, he said something like 'I want to write a song called Ebb & Flow that's about our relationship with God not always being at 100%.' We're not always perfect, and sometimes we feel closer to God and sometimes not as close, like the ebbing and flowing of the tide.
"This song is saying that it's okay to not be perfect--it's okay that we're living and learning and failing and growing. God has grace and he loves us. Everything is going to be okay even when we fall short, which is often. Don't worry, we'll get there! Just never give up hope and go with the ebb and the flow."
'Cause everyone has bad days
And everyone has sad days
That's why we need mad grace
That's why I need You (That's why I need You)
I'm comin' to the surface
I feel the tides turnin'
No drowning in the perfect
'Cause I never knew
