Pat Barrett Speaks about Teaming Up with Dante Bowe
Worship leader and songwriter Pat Barrett returns with his new EP, Nothing / Something (Live), releasing on Chris Tomlin's imprint Bowyer & Bow in partnership with Capitol CMG. One of the EP's highlights is Barrett's duet with Bethel Music and Maverick City Music's Dante Bowe. This is the first time Barrett gets to record a brand new song "Nothing/Something" with Bowe together live!
"It's a few things....it's a new song with @dantebowe ....," Barrett shares. "It's the name of the live EP that I had a bunch of friends sing on with me... and it feels like the culmination of a lot of other things as well...A wild 2 years...A pervasive feeling that it's easy to get wrapped up in life and miss the point...Lose the narrative...forget what this whole things about...at the end of my life, I want it to all mean something. I've had this song on repeat for months now."
With popular songs such as "Build My Life," "The Way (New Horizon)" and the RIAA Platinum certified song, "Good Good Father," Barrett is a key songwriter and artist in the broader worship music community. This new EP is the follow-up to Barrett's studio album, Act Justly, Love Mercy, Walk Humbly,
