Michael Youssef & Leading The Way Awarded at the 2020 National Religious Broadcasters Convention

Leading The Way, the media outreach of pastor and author Dr. Michael Youssef received the International Media Award Tuesday at the National Religious Broadcaster's 2020 Media Awards in Nashville.
The International Media Award is presented to an organization positioned outside of the United States that is excellent in its use of media ministry. This organization is required to demonstrate faithfulness to the mission of God while using electronic media to impact target cultures.
Leading The Way is a leader in innovatively using today's technology strategically to reach citizens worldwide with the Gospel. Leading The Way broadcasts in 26 languages on radio and television more than 14,000 times a week, by producing content that reaches audiences on six continents. Leading The Way is reaching the lost and equipping believers in the Middle East, North Africa and most recently, Indonesia, the world's largest Muslim nation. THE KINGDOM SAT was formed in 2009 and is the foundation Leading The Way's outreach to Muslims. Reaching hundreds of millions of viewers, including audiences in closed countries like Saudi Arabia and Libya, this channel is designed to evangelize Muslim audiences and strengthen Christian audiences with solid biblical teaching and personal discipleship.
Leading The Way is in a season of rapid international and domestic expansion through an initiative called "Vision 2025," which seeks to win 1 million people worldwide to faith in Christ by 2025.

Celebrating 31 years of ministry, Leading The Way is the media outreach of Dr. Michael Youssef. Leading The Way's television and radio programs are broadcast in 26 languages to audiences across six continents through dual-language programs, Leading The Way's satellite television channel THE KINGDOM SAT, and solar-powered Leading The Way Navigators. Leading The Way also produces DVDs, CDs, books, a monthly devotional magazine, and daily e-devotionals to reach the lost and encourage believers in their faith. The ministry utilizes field ministry teams to evangelize seekers and disciple new believers. Dr. Youssef's unique perspective has given him a platform to speak boldly into today's issues and provide biblical solutions to the challenges Christians are facing today.
Dr. Youssef was born in Egypt, but in 1984, he fulfilled a childhood dream of becoming an American citizen. He is the founding and senior pastor of Church of the Apostles in Atlanta, Georgia. He holds degrees from Moore College in Sydney, Australia and Fuller Theological Seminary in California, with a Ph.D. in social anthropology from Emory University. He is the author of 40 books. His forthcoming book, Saving Christianity, is coming to bookstores everywhere March 3, 2020.
