GRAMMY® nominated, RIAA Certified Gold-selling rock band RED is set to release The Evening Hate EP November 1st via RED ENTERTAINMENT / The Fuel Music to digital outlets worldwide. The 5-track EP features the lead single and title song featured on SiriusXM Octane, Loudwire, hardDrive with Lou Brutus, hardDrive XL, New Metal Tracks (Spotify), Music Choice, as well as follow-up single, "From The Ashes," headed to radio October 25th.
The EP also includes the band's latest cover song, its take on Fuel's No. 1 hit song "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)."
"We all love music and are old enough to have some pretty big favorites over the years, but when Anthony [Armstrong, RED guitarist] suggested 'Hemorrhage,' we all agreed and loved the song," shares RED vocalist Michael Barnes. "It actually came together rather quickly and as an added bonus we were able to work with the original producer of the song on our version!"
Produced by Ben Grosse, known for mixing RED's albums as well as working with Fuel, Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, Alter Bridge and many others, "Hemorrhage" releases today to all digital and streaming outlets around the world (https://lnk.to/hemorrhage).
The new track joins the eclectic collection of songs RED has covered both live and in the studio from as far back as Duran Duran's "Ordinary World," featured on the 10-year anniversary of the GRAMMY-nominated album Innocence & Instinct out last month, to "Unstoppable" (originally by Sia) on its previous album GONE.
RED, comprised of Barnes, identical twin brothers Anthony and Randy Armstrong (bass), and longtime live drummer Dan Johnson, will also join In Flames for a 34-city major market tour across the US and Canada this fall:
Rock band RED launched its RIAA Certified Gold album End of Silence in 2006, followed by five acclaimed albums that together amassed two million albums sold, hundreds of millions of streams, two Top 10 Active Rock singles, three Top 10 Mainstream Rock singles, 24 consecutive No. 1 hits at CRR radio and two Gold-selling singles ("Breathe Into Me," "Already Over"). The band has also received two GRAMMY nominations, six Dove Awards and multiple film, TV and gaming placements while being featured by Conan, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, USA Today, Rolling Stone, Guitar World and many more. The band's touring has taken them to more than 25 countries across 2,500+ concerts while their musical instrument endorsements include: Westone, PRS Guitars, Peavey.com, Mesa Boogie Amps, Line 6 and more. Forming RED ENTERTAINMENT earlier this year, the band is making plans now for a new full-length album in spring 2020.
