Brent Crowe Explores the Legacy of the Apostle Paul in "Moments ’til Midnight"
From his miraculous roadside conversion to his 13 letters canonized in the New Testament, the apostle Paul's life seems larger than life. Yet every Christian alive today can aspire to the same legacy as the apostle, who wrote: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
Brent Crowe, an author, speaker and Vice President of Student Leadership University, enjoys introducing Christians of all ages to the legacy of the apostle Paul and the implications for their own life journeys. Crowe's new book, Moments 'til Midnight: The Final Thoughts of a Wandering Pilgrim (B&H, September 2018), creatively peels back the curtain of Paul's final hours on earth to reveal the legacy of a faithful life.
"I hope readers allow Paul's journey to impact their own journeys - and begin to see themselves as modern-day pilgrims," explains Crowe. "Like Paul, we are journeying toward Heaven. Like Paul, we can leave a legacy of faith for those who follow."
In Moments 'til Midnight, Brent Crowe imagines the final twelve hours of Paul's life from the apostle's perspective. With no more letters to write, no more churches to plant, no more sermons to preach, and no more missionary journeys to embark upon, Paul awaited his death sentence. Crowe describes how the apostle might have reminisced about his earthly pilgrimage - and how Paul's journey offers light to those sojourning today.
