Zacardi Cortez's "#YDIA" Hits Top 5 on Billboard's Gospel Airplay Chart

Kerry Douglas has got his groove back. The man who has put a litany of top gospel stars on the musical map over the last two decades is back in action with his new Top Ten best-selling album "Kerry Douglas Presents Gospel Mix 2016." The project features Zacardi Cortez's catchy track "#YDIA" that moves up to No. 5 from last week's position of No. 10 on Billboard Magazine's Gospel Airplay chart.
"The song is getting a great response," says Douglas. "People are responding to the beat and to the message. YDIA means You Did It Again. In other words, Lord, you did it again. It's a song thanking God for another day of his tremendous blessings." On Friday, April 22nd iTunes will slash the digital download price of "#YDIA" to 69 cents for two weeks.
The twelve-track album also boasts Damon Little's inspiring new tune "I Won't Be Defeated" that makes its Billboard Gospel Airplay chart debut this week at No. 22. Other megahits on the set include the chart hits such as Byron Cage's "Like No Other" (No. 6), Earnest Pugh's "Trade It All" (No. 21) and Jennifer Mekel's beautiful "Great God" featuring the Boys & Girls Choir of Harlem Alumni Ensemble (No. 21). The collection also highlights equally stellar performances from Chad Brawley, Half Mile Home, James Fortune & FIYA, Mike E. James Grear & Co., Ricky Dillard & New G and The Brown Boyz,
