The past few years have seen more and more interesting foreign language movies. One such movie is Like Father, Like Son from Japanese film maker Hirokazu Koreeda who also wrote and edited the movie. Hirokazu has done extensive work on documentaries and is also known for his work on the movie Still Walking that made quite the impression with famed critic Roger Ebert. Like this present film Still Walking was a family drama that Hirkazu admitted was based on his family.

Disney are having a really busy few years coming up with a whole host of Marvel movies on the timetable along with their own projects. One of the projects that they have coming up is Into the Woods. The movie that the studio has been working on since 2012 and will be the first movie the studio has adapted from a Broadway show. The movie is set for a 25th December 2014 theatrical release.

The Legend of Korra is a video game being developed by Platinum Games and published by the legendary production company Activision. The brilliant third person video game draws both its storyline and inspiration from the brilliant animated drama TV series created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, Avatar the Legend of Korra. The game is meant to be developed for Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows platforms.

This fighting game is meant to be the latest addition to the beautiful work of art by the NetherRealm Studios, Mortal Kombat. The game is currently being developed for, Playstation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows platforms. The game although by a different developer, will be ported to Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. It is highly anticipated because of the many additions and developments that have been included in it.

This is a game developed by Techland, a Polish video game developer. The action adventure horror video game is published by Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment and set to be released on Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows platforms. The game has both single player and multi player modes and is scheduled to be released on January 27th 2015 for North America, January 28th 2015 for Australia and January 30th of the same year for Europe and Japan.

The idea that this epidemic has made it the busiest city in the country and home to eight million has sent out a panic.

Cases of Americans joining terrorism groups are on the rise; a disheartening fact. The latest one is of a man that wielded an ax and begun to massacre a group of patrol offices in broad day light at around 2pm. The New York police managed to finally shoot and kill him but the incident left two police officers injured and one bystander wounded in the gunfire.

WWE 2K15 is one of the most anticipated released of the fall gaming season and each new feature that the developers announce makes it more enticing. WWE 2K15 is going to be released on Tuesday October 28 for PlayStation 3 as well as X Box 360 and November 18th for PlayStation 4 and X Box One. Apparently, the next generation release was delayed in order to ensure the best possible outcome for the game at least as concerns the better game modes.

Jason Thompson from the Sacramento Kings has been involved in trade rumors before and it all started when the Kings front court suddenly became quite crowded with the arrival of Rudy Gay and Derrick Williams. There may be rumblings over whether someone is becoming obsolete. Okay that is too cold. League sources mentioned to the ESPN site, the Kings have been trying to find a new home for the forward Jason Thompson who is not gelling well with the new arrivals.

Google has announced the Nexus 9. This is an 8.9 inch tablet that will be one of the first devices to run on the new software update Android 5.0, which also happens to be Google largest mobile operating system as yet. The Nexus 9 is scheduled to launch on the 3rd of November, and there are pre orders now available from Google.

The revenge story has been told in so many ways in a myriad of voices from Four Brothers to Kill Bill everyone has had their stab at the story. Independent film maker Jeremy Saulnier has also thrown his unique hat into the ring. Saulnier has written, directed and done the cinematography on this film after seeking the funds through a widely successful Kickstarter campaign.

We are all so focused on movies out of North America and foreign language films out of Europe that we are almost shocked when a movie has a tag from anywhere else. The movie Gloria is a Spanish language movie out of Chile that was chosen for an Oscar but did not get a nomination. The movie is written, directed and produced by Sebastian Lelio who has done a host of Spanish language short films including Cuatro and Carga Vital.
