Selah was formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 1997.


Signed to Curb Records, all three founding members are also solo artists with the label.

Memorable Moments & Band Facts:

  • - Both Todd and Nicol lost children the same year.
  • - Todd and Nicol's parents were missionaries and the two grew up in Africa where they learned to speak Kituba.
  • - The group was bringing new life to traditional hymns long before other CCM artists started doing "worship projects."
