He's finally done it! George Clooney is finally married, New York Daily News reports. Clooney married Amal Alamuddin, a British human rights lawyer, in Venice last Saturday and the wedding is a star-studded affair. The couple made their first appearance the day after the joyous celebration outside their hotel. They are planning to officially register their wedding on Monday 1 p.m. at Ca'Farsetti palace in Northern Venice.

The wedding and the details are tightly guarded and even the staff members that catered the event are sworn to secrecy, but here are some details about the festivities that you might want to know.

The couple exchange vows at the Aman Canal Grande Hotel and the ceremony was conducted by their close friend, Walter Veltroni. Veltroni is the former mayor of Rome. Rande Gerber serves as Clooney's best man at the wedding. Gerber was seen attending the event with her wife, Cindy Crawford.

Several photos were released in the Internet but the official ones are yet to be seen. It is rumored that US Vogue managed to secure the exclusive rights to the couple's wedding and all proceeds are going to be given to a charity. This might be true because Anna Wintour is also present at the wedding. Among the celebrities who were seen were Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana, U2 singer Bono, and John Krasinski and his wife, Emily Blunt.

Clooney is very particular when it comes to the privacy of the wedding. The guests were given a "special camera" that has a corresponding code. Any photo that is going to be taken will be routed in a central database to be accessed by Clooney's staff. This will make it easier to track photos in case some of the images were released in the media. They can easily locate who is responsible for the leak.

The grooms wore a classic black Tuxedo but everybody is still waiting on the details about the bride's dress. No photo, not even the name of the designer has been revealed to the public.
