Minority Report TV series Latest News: The action-packed Tom Cruise starrer will be lead by a Female and is coming to TV screens soon!

Minority report? Isn't that a movie in 2002 which starred Tom Cruise? Yes, it is. Well, it turns out that 20th Century Fox is developing a TV series from the successful sci-fi thriller. This time, it will be rebooted as a female-lead TV show which means that Tom Cruise isn't going to be the main man. But let's not worry about that, who knows? Maybe he'll guest some time. (We certainly hope so!)

The Minority Report TV show is being expected by avid fans of the movie where it received generally positive reviews from critics. The show is set 10 years after the Pre-Crime Division has been dismantled focusing on 3 Pre-Cogs (who has the vision to see the future). They meet a female detective with certain issues with herself. The pilot episode will be co-produced by Fox along with some other producers. A release date is not yet confirmed since it's too soon and the TV show is still under development.

On the other hand, let's hear something from the main man of the original movie himself. The 52 year-old Tom Cruise is shooting for the movie Mission Impossible 5 in the famous Vienna Opera House in Austria. He was seen dangling around a rope, a hundred feet from the ground with co-star Rebecca Ferguson who was obviously pretty nervous (who wouldn't be?).

Perhaps Tom Cruise has been made aware of the Minority Report TV series and as some fans would wish, he could at least appear on the Minority Report TV show sometime soon.
