Natalie Grant is Heading to the GSN
The Game Show Network (GSN) has announced that Natalie Grant will be the host for their new show, It Takes A Church. The Grammy nominee and multi Dove Award winner will lead the charge as members of a church go on a mission to find love for one single church member. A great choice for the show, Natalie knows a bit about love herself as she celebrated her 14th anniversary to producer Bernie Herms in August.
The show will visit a church congregation from across the country every week to surprise one unsuspecting single member with the surprise news that they're "about to be saved from the dating world." The Pastor of the church will ask the congregation to help find the best possible matches for the lucky member and then the choice of who is "the" one has to be made. The member who brings the winning suitor will get a donation for the church.
The fun game show will be a lighthearted journey for Grant and very different than her usual non-musical projects. The founder of Abolition International, an organization that provides aftercare services to victims of human trafficking, received the Bishop Ketteler Award for Social Justice from the Sisters of Divine Providence for her work against human trafficking last year. Next year, she will be producing and narrating In Plain Sight: Stories of Hope and Freedom, a movie that will "let the world know about the thousands of women and children in the U.S. who are forced, coerced, or deceived into the commercial sex trade each year."
