It is now official that Jennifer Love Hewitt joins the cast of the successful TV series Criminal Minds as it open for season 10. It's been a while since you have seen her on TV and now she is back with the role of being a criminal psychologist. Her character also has this dark past, which makes it more intriguing and challenging for her as an actress. The show's executive producer, Erica Messer, confirmed all these information with her statement to TV Guide saying, "Kate (Hewitt's character) is smart, charming, and wise for her years."

Moreover, you can you expect for this Kate character to be passionate and simply aiming for world peace. She had a lot of things that has gone upsetting from the past and all those things are the ones that have made her the patriot that she is now at the same time someone who is always there for her family. The complete name of her character is Kate Callahan and she will always be thee to investigate matters about unexplainable murders from victims that are unrecognizable. She will be providing some insights about psychology and how the murder took place according to the motives of the criminals. Her character is definitely going to be an asset to the BAU team. Expect for this season to kick off on the 1^st of October right on your TV screen.
