In the latest reports, about Schumacher's condition, it has been confirmed that he was showing encouraging signs of recovery and progress. He is currently at the University Hospital at Lausanne in Switzerland. The ones who were close to him give indication that he was able to respond to those around him by fluttering his eyelashes. Michael Shumacher had suffered an accident in the French Alps and was put in a coma last December for six months by the doctors in order to regulate the building pressure in his brain.

Some media outlets have hinted that medical professionals from Croatia, are developing a revolutionary microchip approach technique. This is to help him get back on his feet and talking again. These developments have sparked a lot of rumors that he may even be able to go home within a month. However, nothing has been confirmed by the family or by the medical advisors that are handling his recovery. In line with this, a German publication Bild has reported that Schumacher's wife, Corrina has put the family Falcon 2000EX private jet-plane for 20 million Euros. This would make sense if Michael was coming home soon.

The main reason for the alleged sale of the craft is that Corinna is undertaking a project that would make part of the property become a treatment center which ha s state of the art equipment that would help in the remainder of Michael's recovery. There was also a bit of speculation that Mercedes Benz would reconsider the relationship that they have with the formula 1 Icon, though, Daimler which is Mercedes owner announced that they are going to retain Michael as their brand ambassador. However, Daimler has not acknowledged any visits to Michael at the current center he is in because they wanted to respect his privacy and that of his family.
