Bestselling author and pastor Max Lucado is celebrating a joyful new chapter in family life with the arrival of his newest granddaughter, Sylvie.
Sharing the news with gratitude and faith, Lucado wrote, "We have another grandchild! Welcome to the world, Sylvie. May Christ kiss you with grace and joy." Sylvie is grandchild number six for Max and his wife, Denalyn, marking their second grandchild to arrive within the last two months.
The season of celebration continues for the Lucado family, as another grandchild is expected to arrive on Good Friday, making this spring especially meaningful for the longtime pastor and author whose ministry has long centered on hope, grace, and the love of Christ.
Lucado, often referred to as "America's Pastor," has spent decades encouraging millions through his writing and teaching, frequently pointing to God's presence in everyday moments. This personal milestone reflects the themes that have defined his ministry, gratitude, family, and trust in God's goodness.
As the Lucados welcome new life into their family, they do so with hearts full of thanksgiving, celebrating not only the gift of grandchildren, but the grace and joy they believe flow from Christ himself.
