Jeremy Camp has shared an encouraging yet prayerful update regarding Toby Friesen, a longtime and deeply valued member of his touring team, as the Camp family and their community continue to trust God through a challenging season.

Friesen, who has played guitar alongside Jeremy Camp for the past 14 years, is widely regarded as a cornerstone of the team-known for his unwavering heart, consistency, and faithfulness. "His heart, consistency, and faithfulness are truly unmatched, and we've been incredibly blessed to have him as part of this family," Camp shared.

Over the past month, Friesen has been battling an unknown illness, making it a particularly heavy season for him and his family. While doctors are still seeking clarity through ongoing tests and biopsies, there has been encouraging progress. According to a recent update from his wife, Toby has completed five days of anti-fungal IV treatment and, for the first time in weeks, has been fever-free at night for four consecutive nights. He has also been released to return home, marking a significant step forward in his recovery.

Despite these positive signs, the family continues to await test results and asks for ongoing prayers for wisdom for doctors, clarity in diagnosis, and complete healing. Friesen is married and the father of three young children, making this season especially challenging as they navigate uncertainty together.

"I've been blown away by the prayers and support we've received," Toby's wife shared. "From the bottom of my heart, thank you. We have felt so cared for." She expressed gratitude for every prayer, call, message, and practical act of kindness, including meals and other support.

Jeremy Camp echoed that sentiment, encouraging fans and the broader Christian music community to keep Toby Friesen, his wife, and their children covered in prayer. "We believe God is near, even in the uncertainty," Camp shared, affirming faith and hope amid the ongoing journey.

The Camp family and team remain deeply thankful for the continued prayers and support as they trust the Lord for healing and restoration.
