Country music legend Dolly Parton is set to release her latest book, Star of the Show: My Life on Stage, on November 11, 2025, via Ten Speed Press. This memoir is described as the culminating volume of Parton's photographic trilogy - following Songteller: My Life in Lyrics and Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones.
In this richly illustrated memoir, Parton reflects on more than seven decades on stage - from singing in her parents' living room in the Smoky Mountains to headlining global tours, acting on film and television, and building her legacy as one of the most iconic entertainers in history. Filled with more than 350 full-colour photographs and an eight-page gatefold listing of her lifetime of performances, the book presents not just her story, but her archive - ticket-stubs, backstage snapshots, memorabilia, and personal reflections on the craft of performing.
"I'm so proud that I've been able to spend the last 70-plus years doing what I feel I was born to do... singing, writing, and performing. Even prouder that I've been able to do it with and for my fans. God bless you everyone." - Dolly Parton
