Michael W. Smith Announces Paperback Release Of "The Way Of The Father" With Brand As New Music Ignites Global Tour

Multi-platinum recording artist, best-selling author, and worship leader Michael W. Smith is excited to announce that his memoir, The Way of the Father, is now available in paperback with a refreshed new cover. Inspired by the life and legacy of his late father, Paul Smith, the book reflects on how a father's faith and love can point to the heart of God. Since its original release, readers have shared how the book has drawn them closer to the Lord, something Smith describes as one of his greatest joys. He expressed his hope that this new edition will make the book even more accessible to those seeking encouragement, hope, and a reminder of God's love.
The announcement comes during an especially creative season for Smith. His recent single "Your Love Is a Flood" has been widely praised for its powerful message of God's love that overwhelms and transforms. Earlier this year he also released "Arms Around the Sun," a soaring anthem featuring Jonathan Roumie on drums. In a recent interview, Smith reflected on his journey of balancing artistry and faith, emphasizing that his identity is rooted not in fame but in his walk with the Lord and his family.
These new releases are energizing fans around the world as Smith prepares to embark on his Beyond the Far Horizon Tour this fall, followed by his much-anticipated Christmas Together Tour alongside Amy Grant and CeCe Winans.
Michael W. Smith is a three-time Grammy Award winner, 45-time Dove Award recipient, and one of the most influential figures in contemporary Christian music. He has sold more than 18 million albums, written numerous best-selling books, and continues to impact lives globally through his music, writing, and advocacy work.
