Iryne Rock is "Grateful" for New EP
Singer and songwriter Iryne Rock is back with her second collection of songs. Entitled Grateful, this EP finds Rock working with Grammy/Dove nominated producer, Biilly Smiley. This new EP is the follow-up to her debut album, JFY -- Just for You, which was released in 2018.
According to Rock, these 4 new songs come out of her worship inspired by the Holy Spirit. "Songwriting for me has always been inspired by the Holy Spirit," she reveals. Rock also explains why she has decided to call the collection "Gareful." She writes,"We are indeed grateful to God for who He is and for calling us out of darkness into light. We are also grateful for his protection this past year. We all shared a common hardship and God saw us all through."
Born in Nigeria before relocating to the United States as a teenager, Iryne is fortunate to have spiritual mentors, including her parents, whose impact upon her ministry cannot be understated. A firm believer in the word of God, she gave her life to Christ and has been involved in the choir from an early age. She most recently served as the Youth Pastor and worship leader at her local church in Maryland where she developed her vocal and songwriting abilities.
