Nashville Season 3: With all the Drama that Happened in Season Two, Brace Yourselves for an Exciting Season Three
For those of you who have been having sleepless nights with the worry of not getting your favorite country music drama for another season, well you can breathe easy now as ABC have agreed to renew Nashville for another season.
On Friday may 9th ABC announced that they would be renewing a third season of this country music drama series. However, it was clearly seen that Nashville did have a difficult second season with an average of only 5.4 million viewers and 1.5 million rating among adults from the age of 18 to 49.
Apart from the rating Nashville has continued to offer ABC and Lionsgate Television an enticing collection of additional revenues stream with its sound track album that had a mini tour with a few of the cast members to support their latest CD.
Now with all the drama that happened in season 2 we can't help but wonder what the 3rd season has to offer. Season 2 showed us that its biggest strength was the country music business which has always been the major part when it comes to this series. It did however give us some new characters like the gay singer Will Lexington (Chris Carmack) who panders himself with Layla (Aubrey Peeples), but later finds himself accidentally exposing himself to a reality show camera later on in the season.
We are yet to see how Rayan deals with all the trials she gets in her life considering that things seem to be getting more complicated in her life. With her divorce from her husband and her breaking up with Deacon Claybourne (Charles Esten) who turned out to be the father to her first born daughter. You can't help but wonder who she will eventually end up with. The marriage proposal also given to her by Luke makes things more complicated for her. Not forgetting her relationship with her two daughters who have to deal with their parents' divorce.
As for Juliette we can only hope that she might change and be a little bit nicer in the next season. We do like seeing what type of mess she gets herself into though from time to time so maybe next season she will be back bad and meaner that before. I guess we will have to wait and see what the new season will have to offer.
Nashville returns with a full 22 episode season. Watch out for a singing, boozing, mother drama and issues, secrets, lies, passionate melodious moments from this country musical drama.
