According to the christianpost.com, Pastor Rick Warren of Saddleback Church located in Lake Forest, California, announced on Tuesday at a media gathering at Georgetown University, that he will start a new radio show titled ‘Daily Hope.’ The show should kick off the first week of April.
Warren who is one of the most popular pastors in the USA, and is an author of the bestseller book ‘The Purpose Driven Life: What on Earth Am I Here For?’ released in 2002, resisted to do any radio or TV show for about 32 years of his ministry.
Warren decided to break his radio silence as he feels that the country is discouraged and through his show he wants to bring hope. Warren said, “People are far more rude now than they used to be," He added, "Our civilization is losing its civility. We just don't know how to be nice to people."
On the show, Rick Warren also wants to talk about deterioration of religious liberty in America.
Warren’s ‘Daily Hope’ is planned to be 30 minutes long, and is supposed to air Monday through Friday through Salem Communications.
