Casey J's "The Gathering" Makes a Big Splash on the Charts
The highly anticipated second album from award-winning worship singer and songwriter, Casey J, THE GATHERING, enters both the Billboard Gospel Consumption and Gospel Albums Sales charts at number 2.
THE GATHERING has been met with both critical and consumer acclaim, spurred on by a series of appearances and performances. The album also entered at number 11* on the Billboard Top Christian & Gospel Albums Sales chart. Led by the first single, "If God," the song also continues to gain momentum and is Top 25 on both Billboard Gospel Airplay and Mediabase Gospel Songs charts.
Inspired by Casey J's popular "Pop Up Worship" events, THE GATHERING was recorded live in the farm-like setting of Serenbe, just outside of Atlanta, GA with a small group of worshippers. THE GATHERING captures the beauty and power of unrestrained and organic worship while pursuing Casey's purpose of bringing a worship atmosphere outside the four walls of the traditional church.
THE GATHERING is the follow-up to Casey J's 2015 debut The Truth, and her number 1 breakout song "Fill Me Up", which has over 26 million combined streams.
