Listen to Bethel Music's New Rootsy "Ain't No Grave" Here

Bethel Music has released their first brand new song for 2019, it's called "Ain't No Grave." This rootsy song, which is depature of Bethel's usual sound, features guest vocalist Molly Skaggs. Skaggs is part of the Cageless Birds ministry led by Jonathan and Melissa Helser.
Skaggs introduces the song: ""Ain't No Grave" is rooted in old-time Appalachian gospel music. It is a marriage of the the old, with Brother Claude Ely's original chorus and the new, my personal testimony of overcoming fear and shame, woven into each verse. For me, this song is steeped in the reality of Jesus and what He has done for me and my community. This is an anthem for ANYONE who is ready to follow Jesus and walk out of the graves in their daily life. "Ain't No Grave" is a testimony of faith, a song for those who are ready to shake off the victim mentality and stand up in the truth of who they really are."
The song is the first release from Bethel Music's VICTORY which retails on January 25, 2019. The new album features 14 confident declarative songs recorded live at Bethel Church. The album is inspired by the story of King Jehoshaphat and the unlikely victory won by sending worshipers to the front lines of battle in 2 Chronicles 20:22 "As they began to sing and praise the Lord set an ambush against the men who were invading Judah and they were defeated."
Here are the words of "Ain't No Grave:"
There ain't no grave
Gonna hold my body down
There ain't no grave
Gonna hold my body down .
When I hear that trumpet sound
I'm gonna rise right out of the ground
Ain't no grave
Gonna hold my body down .
Well, look way down the river
And what do you think I see
I see a band of angels
And they're coming after me .
Ain't no grave
Gonna hold my body down
There ain't no grave
Gonna hold my body down .
Well, look down yonder, Gabriel
Put your feet on the land and sea
But Gabriel, don't you blow your trumpet
Until you hear from me .
There ain't no grave
Gonna hold my body down
Ain't no grave
Gonna hold my body down .
Well meet me, Jesus, meet me
Meet me in the middle of the air
And if these wings don't fail me,
I will meet you anywhere .
Ain't no grave
Gonna hold my body down
There ain't no grave
Gonna hold my body down .
Well meet me, Mother and Father,
Meet me down the river road
And Mama, you know that I'll be there
When I check in my load .
Ain't no grave
Gonna hold my body down
There ain't no grave
Gonna hold my body down
There ain't no grave
Gonna hold my body down .
If you walked down out of the grave
I'm walking too
If you walked down out of the grave
I'm walking too
If you walked down out of the grave
I'm walking too
ain't no grave
Gonna hold my body down
Gonna hold my body down
There ain't no grave
Gonna hold my body down .
