Israel Houghton Doing the "Dirty Dancing" with Girlfriend Adrienne Bailon

Not long ago, worship leader and songwriter Israel Houghton announced his divorce from his wife of more than 20 years was final. A few later, he was seen in the arms of actress Adrienne Bailon. Recently, Bailon took to various social media platforms to express her excitement on being nominated at this year's Emmy Awards for her daytime talk show, "The Real."
Along with her series of post, the entertainer shared a video of herself and her new beau after the night was over, reenacting their own versions of the dance scene in the movie "Dirty Dancing." The well-dressed couple, looking as free as ever, dramatically danced to the '80s classic, "(I've Had) The Time of My Life." Houghton held Bailon's waist as she whipped her hair back and forth in a dance routine Bailon labeled #cleandancing. See the Instagram video below:
Bailon first became publicly known when she rose to fame as a founding member and lead singer of both 3LW(1999-2007) and The Cheetah Girls (2003-2008). Bailon started her career with singing group 3LW which led to her involvement in the Disney franchise, The Cheetah Girls. Bailon also went on to develop her own acting career with roles in The Cheetah Girls films, Coach Carter and the MTV film All You've Got.
Houghton, who is the worship leader at Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church and the writer of songs such as "Jesus At the Center," divorced his wife of more than 20 years Meleasa. The 44-year-old stated that he and Meleasa had been separated for a long time before officially ending their marriage, and revealed that his infidelity five years ago was to blame for the split.
Adrienne Bailon began dating Israel after his divorce was made official earlier this year, and the duo were spotted kissing during their romantic Mexican getaway. The pair were friends before they became romantically involved. She also appeared in the 2013 movie I'm In Love with A Church Girl, which Israel produced.
Israel wrote: 'My marriage had been over for quite some time before going public with my divorce announcement. It seems to be simple math that I had not even met Adrienne during the time my marriage was falling apart.'
He added: 'Adrienne is a woman of integrity & character... Most of all she is a true friend, and she should not be blamed for my past indiscretions.'
Houghton has served as worship leader for the Promise Keepers and Champions for Christ events, as well as the Hillsong Conference 2006-10, and Hillsong Conference Europe 2008-10. Israel currently serves as a worship leader (alongside Cindy Cruse-Ratcliff, Steve Crawford and Da'dra Crawford-Greathouse) at Lakewood Church in Houston, pastored by Joel Osteen. Houghton is also the producer of Darlene Zschech's latest worship album Revealing Jesus.
