Eddie Montgomery Of Duo Montgomery Gentry Loses 19-Year-Old Son In Accident

The 19-year-old son of Montgomery Gentry singer Eddie Montgomery has died on Sunday.
"My son Hunter went to heaven today," Montgomery said in a statement. "I appreciate all your prayers and love and thank you for giving us privacy as we grieve and say goodbye."
According to the statement, Hunter's death came after an accident that left him on life support at a Kentucky hospital.
"Unfortunately, we have to fill you in on more heartbreaking news this morning from the Montgomery Gentry family. Our sincerest love, thoughts and prayers are with Eddie and his family today," the bandtold fans on its Facebook page.
Funeral arrangements for the young man are pending as the family navigates this difficult time.
