The Showers Are Appearing with India Arie & the Walls Group at the Essence Music Festival

The Showers were invited to perform at the Essence Music Festival this past weekend in New Orleans and were able to share their Top-15 anthem "Better" with thousands of Gospel music fans at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The Showers were part of the "Hour of Power" lineup Saturday, July 4, along with The Walls Group and India Arie.
"It was an unbelievable experience" said lead singer Titus Showers. "The energy in the convention center was so positive and so electrifying - it was a tremendous honor to be there. We were blessed that many people came up to us when we left the stage, saying they love the song 'Better'. That was great to hear and let us know we are doing something right with the music we are making. We hope to see everyone at Essence again next year!"
Possessing an indefatigable independent spirit and showcasing the virtues of family unity, The Showers are known for their flawless harmonies and songs that touch the spirit. While at the Essence Music Festival, The Showers conducted many interviews and will be featured on an upcoming segment of NewsOne Now with Roland Martin on TV One.
THE SHOWERS FAMILY GROUP self-titled album can be ordered now on all digital outlets.
