Worship Leader Joshua Miller Releases New Album of Hymns and Originals
Joshua Miller has just released his brand new album "It is Well." It's a collection of 13 hymns and originals; this includes Miller's unique take of hymns such as "How Great Thou Art," "It is Well" and "Jesus Paid It All."
Miller is on the pastoral worship staff team at Vineyard Church of Columbus for approximately 3 years now. This is what Miller has to say about the project: "It has been an honor and pleasure serving within the Vineyard Church fellowship. Currently, I find myself in a place where I feel compelled to make some of our Sunday worship music more available to our congregation. Over the last year, I've experienced several promptings from the Lord as well as much encouragement from friends, family, and church leaders to record the music heard in our weekend services.
Personally, I feel a special connection to traditional hymns. I want to ensure that upcoming generations will be exposed to the depth and power of the lyrical content of hymns, and the way they have contributed to our worship of God. I desire the richness of these lyrics to remain regardless of the musical arrangement. I will also include several of my own personal songs the Lord has given me as my own expression of worship. I want to share this with others in hope of inspiring people both musically and spiritually."
