iPhone 6 vs Galaxy S5: Specs and Features Comparison

Since iPhone 6 is now out in the market, we now have hard evidence to compare this Apple new device with Samsung S5. This time around, iPhone is getting closer to compete with the Galaxy S5 in terms of size, with the release of the 4.7 in version and the phablet version (6in). The first comparison we shall tackle is the build quality. S5 remains with plastic as the construction quality of choice, though it got a lot better at working with the material as time has gone on. Apple's used a unibody metal exterior for its high-end phones since the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 6 isn't any different.

iPhone 6 Plus Bending News: Apple is quick to Comment that the new iPhones uses the "Strongest Glass in the Industry"

iPhone 6 Plus Bending News: Apple is quick to Comment that the new iPhones uses the "Strongest Glass in the Industry" The recently launched iPhone 6 was well received as this is the first time that Apple released a larger version compared to previous iPhones. But, there were bashes from other customers about the “bending” issue of the iPhone 6 Plus. A recent youtube video was posted where the iPhone 6 warped out of shape when bent with hands. Apple is quick to comment with CNBC on this issue stating that the new iPhones include steel/titanium inserts to reinforce stress locations and that they use the "strongest glass in the industry." According to Apple, only nine customers had complained about bent issues which basically suggests that the issue is not as widespread as it has appeared in the media. The company also mentioned that “that both the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have met or exceeded testing for strength and durability, and that bending in the iPhone 6 Plus during normal use is "extremely rare." “Our iPhones are designed, engineered and manufactured to be both beautiful and sturdy. iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus feature a precision engineered unibody enclosure constructed from machining a custom grade of 6000 series anodized aluminum, which is tempered for extra strength. They also feature stainless steel and titanium inserts to reinforce high stress locations and use the strongest glass in the smartphone industry. We chose these high-quality materials and construction very carefully for their strength and durability. We also perform rigorous tests throughout the entire development cycle including 3-point bending, pressure point cycling, sit, torsion, and user studies. iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus meet or exceed all of our high quality standards to endure everyday, real life use. With normal use a bend in iPhone is extremely rare and through our first six days of sale, a total of nine customers have contacted Apple with a bent iPhone 6 Plus. As with any Apple product, if you have questions please contact Apple.” Though Apple kept quiet on the issue until last Thursday, the company has been directing its support staff to replace affected phones under warranty following a visual inspection.

Suits has been renewed for a 5th season despite a lackluster Suits mid-season 4 Finale last August 20. However it seems to be a common theme with the show, in that its mid-season finales aren’t able to build as much interest as many of the earlier episodes, and when the second half comes around people fail to pick it back up. “I do think this is a pretty big cliffhanger, but this episode ends with a huge punch,” show creator Aaron Korsh recently told the Hollywood Reporter. “Hopefully people will like it. It’s definitely going to have a huge question posed that we will answer directly in the back six.”

"However, at a band meeting last week I confirmed to Mark, Gary and Howard that I do not wish to commit to recording and promoting a new album.” "I have spent some of the best years of my life with Take That and I’d like to thank everyone who has been a part of my journey, including my bandmates, who I feel are like brothers to me.” “Most especially my gratitude goes to all of the good and kind, beautiful and ever-loyal fans of the band, without whom none of this could have been possible. Thank you.” The remaining band members - Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald - also released a statement. They said: “This is a sad day for us. Jason leaving is a huge loss both professionally and even more so personally.” "We first became aware of Jason's reservations a couple of years ago but had hoped that by giving him the desired time and space he may begin to feel differently.” "This has not been the case and we now have to accept and fully respect his decision which we know hasn’t been an easy one.” It is definitely a sad news for Take That fans around the world with Jason’s leaving the group, but we are still hoping that the British boy band will continue with the anticipated Take That New Album release.
