In the episode 3 entitled "Burning Bridges", Fuentes was suffering with homophobic issue among his co-cops as Danny convinced him to take the primary witness stand in a gay bashing event, exposing himself as gay, which later on solves the case.  Sadly, he paid extremely for the good act; he lost everything in a snap.  He was banished by his father for being who he is, his partner left him feeling betrayed by the situation and his colleagues were now treating him differently.

As for Frank, his religious devotions have been questioned because of the homosexuality issue surrounding NYPD. He voiced out what he know is right, delving into the homosexuality and equality issues, that made the Cardinal demand for an apology. Later on, he did not do give in to the Cardinal's request and stood his ground, like a true man that he is.

What lies ahead for the next episode?

Looking into the video promo released for the fourth episode entitled "Excessive Force", seems like this upcoming episode centers around the famous father and son tandem of the NYPD -- Frank and Danny. Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) being the hard headed police he is, is now facing some serious charges such as losing his badge due to exerting excessive force in capturing a crime suspect. This incident puts Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) in danger, torn between two roles, two choices, two beliefs ---- being a good father for his son or being a dedicated police loyal to the city we promised to protect. Meanwhile, Jamie (Will Estes) is having a good time catching the attention of a beautiful doctor after bringing a homeless man in the hospital. While Eddie (Vanessa Ray) watches in the corner, clearly jealous on what's happening.

Catch the next episode this Friday, Oct. 17 at 10pm EST only on CBS.
