'American Horror Story' Season 4: the Biggest, Most Moving and Exciting Year Yet. Get Your Freak On! By Ryan Murphy
"American Horror Story: Freak Show" is the fourth season of the FX horror anthology television series, American Horror Story. It premiered last October 8, 2014.
The mind behind the new show "American Horror Story", Ryan Murphy, shocked his fans with his announcement regarding the show. Set in Jupiter, Florida in 1952, the series centers on one of the few remaining freak shows in America during the period, plus their struggle to live.
The most outlandish about the "American Horror Story: Freak Show" is that it did not transpire as early as possible. It went openly to its urge search and celebration of the outcasts from the society. "Freak Show" is set in the 50s and it furthermore suggests a time travel to the shadowy drama of "asylum" than the modernized "Coven". To think that "Coven" has made the show's premier ranks and got the most accolades like Emmy, the new show "Horror Story" perhaps has the opportunity to contest. One reason is that people love something that thrills and excites them.
The show's premiere episode was set to run for 90 minutes, including the commercials. In addition, the episode introduced three major characters. They are Jessica Lange as Elsa Mars, a freak show owner who is also a German immigrant; Evan Peters as Jimmy Darling or "Lobster Boy", Elsa's assistant who has fused together, fingers; and then most notably, Sarah Paulson in her dual role of Bette and Dot Tattler, the conjoined twins. It also suggests that the production carefully thought of the cast members for the show. Other members of the cast include Emma Roberts as Maggie Esmeralda, Angela Bassett as Desiree Dupree, Michael Chiklis as Dell Toledo, Denis O'Hare as Stanley, Kathy Bates as Ethel Darling, Frances Conroy as Gloria Mott, and Finn Wittrock as Dandy Mott.
Elsa discovers the twins in their local Florida newspaper. Then, she as the owner invites them to be part of her traveling show. The invitation thrills Bette more than Dot. In fact, the two do not predominantly enjoy an assortment of career options.
According to Vcpost, One of the show's highlights is the vindictive clown Twisty. He is played by guest star John Carroll Lynch. Twisty is a taciturn monster, autonomously serving for the freak show. With a bulky form, dirty outfit, and very large, long-lasting trickster smirk, he becomes an embodiment of a nightmare as he gets on screen. While the Tattler twins serve as the most titillating getaway character, Twisty intensifies the element of horror in the show.
Director Ryan Murphy spoke his thought in Orlandosentinel, "This is our biggest and most moving year. I think you'll agree this is our most exciting year yet. Get your freak on!" It looks like Murphy teases the viewers in his statement.
